2012 New York / NYC Car Shows

It was a great year for car shows in the state of New York and NYC last year, for that reason we are happy to bring you New York's 2012 Car Show Calendar. What can you expect out of 2012 New York State and NYC car shows, simply put, Greatness. They say by looking at the past we can have good idea of what the future will bring and that is certainly true with New York car shows.

What will 2012 bring to the New York car enthusiast world? Well, what happened last year? We could talk about all the great shows that happen last year, but for the sake of time we are going to talk about two of the greatest shows New York has to offer. The New York International Auto Show and the Syracuse Nationals.

New York International Auto Show(NYC Auto Show)

What can you expect out of the largest NYC Car Show the New York Auto Show or New York Motor Show as it is know in some countries? An excellently organized automotive event that attracts 1000’s each year. People have always enjoyed speculating what the cars of the future will look like. This is easily noted by watching a 50’s sci-fi flick, according to Hollywood of the 1950’s by the year 2000 flying cars and personal spacecraft should have already been the norm.

As you have hopefully already figured out 1950’s Hollywood hit pretty far off the mark for the year 2000, but our curiosity for what the future will bring certainly hasn’t changed. That is where the New York Auto Show comes in, it provides a sneak peek as to what the future will bring to the automotive industry. No this isn’t a sci-fi convention, this is the real deal, what type of cars you can expect to see in 2012,2013 and a few years down the line.

So if you are curious as to what new car will be coming out in the next few years, the New York International Auto Show(NYC Auto Show) is a must for you.

Syracuse Nationals

Nothing could be farther away from the New York Auto Show and still be automotive related than the Syracuse Nationals. We are not saying that the Syracuse Nationals is a bad car show, quite to contrary. The Syracuse Nationals is one of the best car shows the East Coast has to offer, it is simply has a completely different theme than the New York Auto Show.

While the New York Auto Show focuses on the future, the Syracuse Nationals focus on the past. That’s right the classics, rumbling engines and pristine paint jobs. It is like classic car heaven, the 2011 Syracuse Nationals had over 7,500 cars and 86,000 attendees. Between the abundance of classic cars, fire works and 15 live bands, the 2012 Syracuse Nationals is a must for all you classic car fans.
